We originally built Base Chat as a reference app for Ragie Connect, but the demand was clear—teams wanted a powerful AI chat experience that delivers accurate, source-backed answers from their knowledge base. So, we turned Base Chat into a standalone product. 

What Is Base Chat? 

Base Chat is an AI-powered chatbot designed to help teams find information faster. It connects directly to your company’s knowledge base (Google Drive, Notion, Confluence, Jira, and many more) to provide instant, up-to-date answers backed by real sources. 

Unlike generic AI chatbots, Base Chat is built for enterprises, with role-based access controls, enterprise-grade security, and advanced retrieval capabilities for complex documents.

Who is Base Chat for?

Base Chat helps teams across sales, support, engineering, and HR instantly retrieve answers from their knowledge base. For example, a Sales team can use Base Chat to get context on deals instead of spending hours searching for account notes, sales playbooks, and customer insights. Sales teams can ask questions like:

  • "What was our last conversation with Acme Corp?"
  •  "Show me our latest sales deck for enterprise accounts."
  •  "What are our competitor battle cards for industry X?"
