For PDFs and PowerPoint files, the page count is determined by the number of pages in the document.

For other document types, a page is defined as 3,000 characters, reflecting the average character count for a single page. Ragie supports fractional pages, meaning if your document contains 1,500 characters, it will count as 0.5 of a page.

A single, standalone image file is counted as one page, using hi-res mode.

Ragie combines the character count across all your documents. For instance, if you have 100 documents with 30 characters each, the total character count would be 3,000, which counts as one page.

Storage fees are determined by the number of pages stored in Ragie's system that exceed your plan’s allotment, billed on a per-page, per-month basis. This monthly fee includes unlimited retrievals and provides the flexibility to add more pages as needed for a small monthly charge.

Fast mode provides reliable, quick extraction of text documents at a low cost.

For more complex documents, hi-res mode uses advanced technologies to extract information from charts, graphs, tables, and images, available at a higher cost.

Future document updates are included as part of the ingest fee.
